The Story

GOOSE the Throttle

GOOSE the Throttle was born from a simple belief: cars should make you feel something.

The raw rumble of an engine on a cold morning. The mechanical honesty of a gear change. The glance back over your shoulder, after you've parked it. The stories, memories and people connected through the machines we love. This is the very essence of GOOSE the Throttle.

We grew up around cars with character. Cars that demanded participation. Cars that made every drive an occasion and every journey a memory. This is where the connection was created. The act of participating.

GOOSE the Throttle also grew out of frustration. Frustration at showing up to car shows, Saturday morning meets and automotive events wearing the same generic merch that had nothing to do with the cars we actually love. The cars that shaped our roads, our friendships and our stories.

Then came a simple thought:

"Because the gear didn't exist, I just made it myself…"

And that's exactly what happened.

Whether it's an Alfa Romeo Busso V6, a Golf Mk1, a BMW E34, a Ford XR8, a classic Datsun or anything in between, the badge isn't what matters.

The feeling is.

Every design in the GOOSE the Throttle collection is inspired by the cars, stories and culture that continue to shape enthusiasts across South Africa and beyond. These aren't just graphics printed on cotton. They're tributes to the machines that became part of our lives.

GOOSE the Throttle is for the die-hards. The ones who can identify an engine note before the car comes into view. The ones who stay long after the meet is over. The ones who understand that the best cars aren't always the fastest, newest or most expensive. They're the ones that stay with you long after the engine is switched off.

This is more than apparel. It's a celebration of the culture, the community and the machines that continue to bring us together. Because at the end of the day, the badge isn't what matters. The feeling is…

The cars we chased. The memories that caught us.

What We Believe
01

People First.

The stories, the owners, the friendships — the cars are the reason we meet, not the reason we stay.

02

Character Over Status.

A rebuilt Tazz is worth as much attention as a Carrera. Sometimes more.

03

Made Honestly.

Locally made apparel from Merchbox, South Africa. Nothing disposable.

"We're not building an audience. We're building a garage. You already know if you want to be there."
